high-gradient magnetic separator / liquid / for pre-filtration / self-cleaning

This high intensity magnetic filter from Eriez is used to capture fine ferrous and paramagnetic particles in liquids and slurries. It has its own electro-magnetic coil design and contains background fields of 2500, 5000, and 10000 Gauss. The unit directs the magnetic field into a central core to create a magnetically susceptible matrix which enhances the background fields. It is also designed with a full magnetic system to prevent external contamination. The feed velocity can be adjusted in order to assure maximum residence time in magnetic zone. Furthermore, self-clean models for continuous operation without any need for supervision is also available.
