The separators designs allow forr pre - separation (bulk entrainment separation for two-stage systems) and fine separation (to be used as a polishing stage for 2 - stage systems or where the procedure conditions only require a single - stage device).

The separators eradicate liquid carry - over originated by high gas velocities to safeguard downstream apparatus and ducting against redundant effects or rust, contamination, or pollution originated by the liquid droplet carryover.

These separators have a very minimal pressure failure and can be operated at gas velocities up to 4.5m/s (900 fpm) under atmospheric circumstances, permitting for a mal -distribution of the gas stream up to ?30%.
