Dropsa presents Magnom? PumpMate magnetic filter or magnetic suction strainer. Within the tank or reservoir, it provides protection to the suction side of hydraulic pumps. This is made possible by its patented design. Standard devices, which are claimed as suction strainers, are not filters in reality. In contrast, Magnom? delivers the performance of a 1 micron absolute hydraulic filter cartridge on the pump's suction side. The contaminant accumulation is achieved without any wash-off of gathered particles, which is common with standard magnetic filters, suction strainers or standard hydraulic filters.

Magnom? provides excellent filtration without any danger of pump cavitation. Even when it is full of impurities, it provides minimal pressure drop and full fluid flow. It eliminates ferrous as well as few nonferrous particles as small as submicron sizes. It provides dual-direction operation. It can work with a broad variety of petroleum oils, synthetic fluids, water-glycols, and hydraulic & lubricating fluids and gases.
