The Meerkat camera series was developed by Xenics Infrared Solutions, and are infrared camera solutions created for use in the security industry. It is available in two different versions which can be delivered with or without the Onvif software. The Meerkat-Fix-Analog is a surveillance and monitoring system which features an uncooled WIR thermal camera contained in a sealed enclosure.

It can be installed with a generic Ethernet connection in a local area network or it can be connected through the Meerkat Fix in an analog security camera network over video. The product includes a wide range of options for wide or narrow angle FOV lenses and a connectivity over PAL/NTSC video.
