The SOMAIN SECUROPE is a life-line with automatic movement that is composed out of a stainless steel cable (with an 8mm cross-section), securope rope grab, distance piece and end fitting. The rope grab is used to connect cable, life-line and lanyard of the personal safety gear and enables automatic movement of pieces from a distance, as it is handled through the lanyard movement. The Distance piece provides energy absorbing capabilities in case of a fall and can also be moved automatically from a distance. The mobile upper element (where the cable is passing through) acts as a shock absorber. The end fittings include cable fixing at the end of a life-line.
