Developed and engineered by Bircher, PrimeTec A radar system is specially designed to open automatic door models. As a safety enhancement, the unit has a self-monitoring infrared curtain compliant to DIN 18650, which is put to the test before the door panel closes. Depending on the application, customers may request for different specifications or functions.

To control the secondary closing edge, Bircher offers the PrimeScan A. The infrared curtain guarantees maximum security at the side of the door panel, especially for people within its vicinity.
