Massive quantities of waste tyres are produced worldwide. KAHL Waste Tyre Recycling Plants has developed a particularly cost-efficient process for to produce metal- and fabric-free granulate. The granulate can be used for various applications that include flexible floor coverings for sports and playgrounds, asphalt additive in road construction for reduction of driving noise and cracks, additive in the production of tyres and shoe soles. It is also used as insulating material for use in family households and industry, e.g. in seats, moulded articles, e.g. for car ventilation systems, mats for protection against vibration and sound and as floor coverings in stables.
