R&S?RSC step attenuator is used when precise signal levels are critical to setup. These attenuators are switchable and offer mechanical-step attenuation. They can be used with different frequencies - 6Hz to 18Hz - with step sizes being set between maximum and minimum ranges.

The attenuation ranges are defined between 139.9dB and 75 dB. The step size can be as small as 0.1dB to 5dB.
