The EN 60947 PSENcode protects against manipulation through a safety switch and actuator. These two works collectively since the safety device is only activated when the actuating element is within the switch's response range and the actuator's code number matches that of the switch. It utilizes two available versiosn of the key lock principles perfect for use with any actuator or an actuator specific to the PSENcode.

It is ideal for safe monitoring of a movable guard due to the PSENcode non-contact and coded safety switches. Once the guards open, the safety switches activates and halts the dangerous machine movements through the Pilz evaluation device.
