OP16 Gas Turbine
OPRA?s 2MW class OP16 gas turbine is an industrial, all-radial design which provides robustness, reliability, highest efficiency in class and ultra-low emissions. The OP16 operates equally well on liquid and gaseous fuels and can switch under full load if specified as a dual fuel unit. The OP16 is specified with different combustor options depending on fuel and emissions requirements.
OP16-3A
The OP16 with combustor designed to burn a wide range of gaseous and liquid fuels such as natural gas, diesel, well-head gas, LPG and biogas.
OP16-3B DLE Combustor
OP16 with DLE combustion. Advanced combustion technology allows the turbine to achieve NOx exhaust levels of 25 ppm or less. Optional equipment may provide even lower levels when required.
OP16-3C
OP16-3C has the same engine core as the well-proven OP16-3A/B and has the same power rating (1.85 MWe). However the OP16-3C features larger combustors specifically designed to burn ultra-low calorific gaseous and liquid fuels such as waste gas, syngas, biogas, coal derived gas, pyrolysis oil and ethanol. The OP16-3C can run on fuels with heating values as low as 10MJ/kg and under certain conditions fuel with even lower heating values. It can operate in dual fuel mode with high-calorific fuel as back up fuel, and in bi-fuel mode where a supplementary fuel can be used to boost an ultra lean fuel.
