MC Multilam plugs are made of brass, and are gold- or nickel-plated. There is a recess which acts as a seat for the easily movable Multilam contact cage. The plugs are constructed in such a way that the louvers bulge outward. This is done by punching the rigid hard-drawn copper alloy sheet, which is again rolled and formed. A spring action of the louvers ensure that there is constant pressure when the plugs are connected. We sell quite a unique range of Multilam plugs. High current-carrying capacity, low self-heating feature and minimal contact resistance are the most noted characteristics of Multilam connectors. The connectors are made with solid metal pins to ensure their ruggedness and enhance their crush-proof characteristics. While the plugs are connectors, there is absolutely no vibration.
