SC Connectors provide non-optical disconnect terminations in a push-pull coupling mechanism, has been tested to the rigorous Telcordia GR-326-CORE. Molex SC connectors are available with a metal plug one-piece design or polymer plug tunable design, with either a simplex, duplex fixed or duplex floating, Fibre Channel compliant, housing style. All versions utilize pre-radiused precision ceramic ferrules and one-piece body design that provide quick and economical terminations, both in factory, and in-the-field settings. Connectors are available for single mode, multimode and Angle Polished (APC) applications. APC connectors are designed with a uniquely precise, pre-angled and pre-radiused Angled Physical Contact (APC) ferrule. The result is an APC connector with superior insertion and return loss performance
