The 6634C, manufactured by Meggitt, is a microprocessor-based device that is designed to position and display vibration data from turning machines. The device take inputs from a single-ended, differential PE or ISOTRON? accelerometer, velocity coil, or Remote Charge Converter. It has a programmable complete range of AC and DC outputs in user selected engineering units to produce either acceleration, velocity, or displacement and includes two TTL suitable alarm outputs for alerts and warnings. Its programming can be done from the front panel keyboard or optional RS-232 computer interface. Furthermore, the device offers an optional 6-pole programmable filter.
