The 17 series of polyester enclosures, manufactured by HUMMEL AG, is built with fiber reinforced polyester, making it resistant to corrosion and chemicals. Due to its rugged construction, it is suitable for chemical and petrochemical industries.

The 17 series has an protection class of IP66 up to IP68, and can be applied in working temperatures ranging from -30C up to +80C.
