Honeywell Limitless? WLS heavy-duty wireless limit switches bring together the best of MICRO SWITCH? HDLS heavy-duty limit switches and advanced wireless technology.

Limitless? Series switches have the same capabilities as the standard MICRO SWITCH? limit switches in terms of temperature ratings, mechanical life, and sealing. The only difference is that Limitless? switches are wireless.

The switches are based on 802.15.4 point-to-point communications. The configuration of switches can be done in such a way that it can potentially allow communication of up to sixteen devices with a single receiver module.

An 802.15.4 open protocol RF board, which operates in the 2.4 GHz global license-free frequency band, is used for implementing the wireless functionality. A panel-mount receiver or an industrial DIN-rail mounting module receive the wireless signal which is then converted into an output. LEDs, buzzers, or electrical signal outputs are possible.

The switches can also provide CAN, ProfiBus, and standard Ethernet communications. With Limitless?, there is no need to worry about maintenance or any wear-and-tear of wiring.
