The GAT Slip Ring ASR provides reliable transmission of data, signal and power currents. It is characterized by a long service life that is completely maintenance free and high contact reliability. It is virtually free of wear because of the low contact forces it produces. It has a very low transmission resistance and produces an extremely low signal noise. It retains its reliability even under high temperatures and when it is exposed to vibrations. It is very suitable for high speeds.
The ESR series use the gold plated rings and the gold spring wire as it provides excellent power, signal and data transmission and a very long service life of the device. The design is very compact and the gold/gold technology provides the top contact quality with very low transition resistance and high resistance to corrosion.
