MOSFET gate and IGBT gate driver ICs from International Rectifier are the most simplified, compact, small and economical chips that can run the gates in various applications at 1,200 and up to 12kW. With low dissipation, ruggedness, optimum design and quick switching speeds, these ICs offer full driver capability to drive the MOSFET and IGBT gates.

With small and compact dimensions, these ICs take up less space on the board. MOSFET or IGBT can be turned on or off from a microcontroller or logic output of DSP, or from other logic devices through these ICs via the generation of appropriate current and voltage.
