Appleton IDSR interlocked switched receptacles are specifically designed for use in Canada to prevent electrical arcing from the use of mobile or portable electrical equipment in non-hazardous locations, both indoors and outdoors.

Available in fused and non-fused versions, with 30, 60 and 100 Amps.

These metallic receptacles include an enclosed mechanical interlock and an On/Off switch that prevents plugs from being inserted or removed unless the power switch is set in the Off position. The switch can be locked in Off position, with a lockable cover latch as an option to provide extra safety.
