MR50, an extremely small yet robust, multifunctional rotary switch. This new switch promises the highest functionality and performance in a minimum of space for portable devices.

Coming in at only a ?? in size, the MR50 enables up to 16 switch positions, switching torques of up to 6 Ncm (newtoncentimeter), and operates either in shorting or interrupt mode. With gold-plated contacts (3 micron gold), the switch offers protection up to IP68 and performs in operating temperature ranges of -45 ?C to +85 ?C.

The MR50 multi-functional rotary switch is designed for portable devices used in application areas such as communications and transportation. It is equally suited for use in precision performance equipment used in medical, measurement, test and monitoring applications.

The MR50 is designed to meet the many special demands found in the area of target and night-vision devices, two-way radios, and most in-vehicle cockpit-applications.

Customer-specific adaptations of the MR50 such as different coding possibilities (BCD, Hex or Gray) or the safety function "Pull to Turn" are offered. It is not subject to ITAR regulations.
