The MEC-PB series of products consists of units that can operate with a 12, 24 or 48V DC-source, which in most cases is a battery. The AC output voltage at 230V 50Hz, on the other hand, is available at an output socket to power equipment such as computers, TV-receivers and notebooks, as well as with various industrial equipment.

The inverters in this series provide a pure sine wave output voltage, while the inputs and outputs are isolated galvanically. The units come equipped with extensive protection facilities, including overheat/overload and battery protection, including low voltage alert and shutdown.
