Continuum?s Horizon device is a highly efficient, mid-band optical parametric oscillator or OPO. Some of the advantages it offers to the scientific community include narrow line-width, an impressive tuning range into the ultraviolet vacuum, active precision control, etc. Horizon provides full access to a wavelength range from 192 to 2,750nm. Full automation with precision scanning on a Windows 7 platform means that this device truly offers hand-free operation.

The beam quality is excellent and both axles have low divergence. The Horizon 1 and 2 models are available for lower or higher power requirements.
