Electrode Sealing Glands are used to isolate single tube, electrodes and temperature sensors thermally in different applications. Typically there are two types including EGT gland which includes the insulator and sealant in one single continuous Teflon unit. This is provided with protection to handle extremes of high voltage and low pressures. The bodies and threads are made of 303SST standard.

Electrode Sealing Glands also have weld-neck style glands which are made from materials such as 316LSST. The other components such as the caps as well as the followers are essentially made from materials which adhere to the 303SST standard.
