They work in chambers with 5-40 mm wall thickness and vacuum levels up to 10-7 millibar. Assembly of feedthrough includes an M12 housing with Viton? O-ring and a dual SMA fiber-optic that interconnects to provides easy coupling with fiber optics cables and also probes. Two additional SMA fiber interconnects (ME-FI-SM-MM) have to be ordered to provide connection between assemblies and fiber-optic cables inside or outside the chamber. The vacuum feedthrough can now be delivered for all fiber diameters ranging from as low as 50?m to as high as 1000 ?m for UV/VIS and VIS/NIR. Also available are solarization resistant fiber for wave lengths lesser than 250 nm .
