The W2S-2 Laser Series is manufactured by Sick, and is a miniature photoelectric sensor equipped with an autocollimation V optics, background controls and PinPoint 2.0 LED. It is designed to identify the distance, time off and presence of an object by means of a light transmitter. Moreover, the sensor is used in long-range, tough sensing and measurement applications.
