The IMA series of inductive proximity sensors from Sick produces an analog output signal that commensurate the distance. This device is capable of providing sensing distances that are 300% linger. Moreover, it combines support for analog current and voltage in one unit. In addition to that, these highly accurate sensors are not affected by blind zones.
