The SX41400 model is manufactured by Meggitt, and is a dual axis closed loop inclinometer and accelerometer that provides angular tilt or acceleration measurements in two perpendicular axis. It has a housing with IP65 class of protection, and is resistant to water that has hydro-mechanical damping permit a very high shock and resistant to vibration.

There is a galvanometer pendulum sensing component, integrated with an optical position sensor that provides two outputs proportional to the sine of the angle tilt. There is also a current that passes through an accuracy resistor and gives the output voltage.

The unit has hybrid technology servo amplifier, and meet the directives according to CE norm EN 61326. It also has an output amplifier gives a low output impedance.
