This relay module of type I.S. is part of the series 9172 and can be used for binary control and signal circuits. The intrinsically safe outputs and inputs and the galvanic isolation between the outputs and the inputs are also worth mentioning. Note that this device is suitable for use with up to SIL2 (IEC 61508) standards.
