Insensitivity to electromagnetic waves due to opto-mechanical converter and total galvanic isolation
Insensitivity to shear stress, tangential and axial forces
High resolution
High sensitivity providing for highly accurate measurement results
Insensitivity to temperature changes and humidity
No problems with friction (as with potentiometer sensors)
Resistance of the cell against dynamic shocks
Insusceptible to erroneous measurements caused by lateral accelerations
Fast response time
Sampling rates of >1Mhz possible
In addition to the simultaneous and absolute determination of the tilt angle in multiple dimensions as well as the rate of rotation, acceleration, and rotation, the KONUX tilt and yaw-rate sensor is immune to the influence of electromagnetic fields. He furthermore shares the most important characteristics of KONUX sensors such as precision, linearity and repeatability of the measuring results. Thanks to the patented KONUX measuring principle, the sensor is functions exclusively in the desired measuring direction and is therefore not affected by accelerations transverse to the direction of measurement. The KONUX inclination and angular motion sensor is available in different versions for measurements in up to 3 dimensions.
