The M18 series of laser sensors is designed to provide high precision position sensing and is commonly used in assembly and handling applications. It delivers unrivaled performance among the class 1 category of lasers as it is capable of detecting even the smallest objects of only 0.5 mm in diameter. It is designed to provide a visible laser spot for easier alignment in addition to a very cost and time saving installation procedure. The M18 series includes a range of devices with powerful through-beam systems, retro-reflective sensors with polarization filter as well as diffuse reflection sensors. It is equipped with a very accurate background suppression that ensures highly reliable operation.
