The HBM W1ELA/0 - Inductive Displacement Transducer may be used for measuring instruments, test equipment, and machines. The body is composed of two measuring coils equidistant to one another in order to build an inductive half bridge.
The frequency amplifier completes the full bridge, and covers a distance measurement in both directions from the zero up to the rated displacement, in which a change in the inductance values of the two coils resulted from the movement of the plunger is the actual displacement.
For the W1ELA/0-2 inductive displacement sensors, an accuracy class of .2 is available for the 4.8kHz frequency.
