The PTC Thermistor is manufactured by Ephy Mess, and is a miniaturized thermistor temperature sensor at a diameter <3 mm. There is available choices for nominal response temperature.

The unit has increase of dielectric strength by shrinkable tube. It has a thermal response time that is below 5 seconds. It also has a nominal response temperature from +60°C to +190°C.

The unit is highly suitable for motor protection, and allows the temperature-dependent switching on or off at a temperature predetermined by the selected thermistor.
