incremental rotary encoder / hollow-shaft / compact

HEIDENHAIN ERN, ECN and EQN rotary encoders are equipped with mounted stator coupling and integral bearing. It has a simple mounting and short length. It is suitable for applications with measuring tasks, speed and position control on servo drives. The hollow shaft of the encoder is attached directly into the shaft to be measured.

The HEIDENHAIN ROC, ROQ and ROD rotary encoders are sealed and are equipped with their own bearings. They are compact and sturdy. They are also coupled by the rotor onto the measured shaft with the use of a separate coupling to compensate misalignment and axial motion between the measured shaft and the encoder shaft.
