The CR-50, CR-100 and CR-250 units are designed with current generating systems that has the ability to monitor the trend or time trigger curve of automatic switches and indirect protection relays. The devices work based on the injection of an alternating current which can be adjusted throughout the circuit and being tested using a short-circuit loop. The auxiliary connection of the switch can be utilized to know the trip time for each current. These also work with a start-stop control. For knowing the measurements and showing them on the display, an automatic meter is to be used. The units feature a variety of applications including a full-protection system, a current transformer in case of indirect relays, and a digital display.
