The 4050 series of waveforms and dual channel function generators can be used for various applications, being capable of generating precise and stable square, sine, triangle, arbitrary and pulse waveforms. The color displays are easy to read, while the user interface is very intuitive, being equipped with a numeric keypad.

Note that these instruments also offer other features, including logarithmic and linear sweep, as well as a counter, triggering capabilities and extensive modulation. The high 14-bit performance and the 125MSa/s waveform generator are other important advantages, as is the main output voltage, which can vary from 0 to 10Vpp to 50 ohms.
