Beckhoff's M3000 absolute encoder enables displacements to be aquired with immunity to failure of power and with a range of measurement corresponding to the length of with a 24 bit measurement range. Manufactured by T+R/Beckhoff, the compact opto-electronic multi turn absolute encoder has a 24 bit resolution with 4096 revolutions as well as 4096 steps per revolution. Having a resolution of 36000 pulses per revolution, the incremental transducer has the capability to interrogate 255 of them in a single lightbus ring. Some of the notable features of M3000 include standard flange, optional shock absorber modules, compact with minimal space requirements, 1 MHz frequency limit, binary number as the data output and adapter flanges for different mechanical requirements.
