Banner QS18 is an economical ultrasonic sensor in the widely-used WORLD-BEAM housing. It is capable of detecting both clear and transparent material, including color variations. It offers a wide sensing window of 50 to 500 mm and has a response time of 15 milliseconds.

QS18 can operate in temperatures ranging from -20? to 60? C. It features temperature compensation for any changes in air. It provides precise measurements in all environments, including wet and dirty environments. The push-button TEACH facilitates sensor or remote programming with ease.

QS18 allows viewing of operating status using LED indicators visible from 360?. The sensors offer encapsulated models with IP67 or IP68 protection suitable for a variety of challenging environments. Based on the model, output is 10 to 30V dc supply voltage with NPN or PNP
